This sweet card is taken from an original freehand machine embroidered picture of a bunch of tulips in a jug. This professionally printed card captures the beautiful 'wobbly' quality of the machine embroidered lines. You can still see the frayed edges of the fabric and the texture of the calico it was stitched on to.

My work combines both freehand machine embroidery and some extra touches added on later digitally like the polka dots in the background.

The card is printed on thick 350gsm paper stock. It's a beautiful linen textured board which adds a lovely tactile quality to the stitched design. The card is left blank inside which is perfect to write your own personal message. The card measures 150 mm x 150 mm and comes with a white envelope in a cellophane sleeve.
