Make Your Own Cosmetic Bag – with Guest Tutor Alyson
 
Join us for a fun and friendly sewing session with guest tutor Alyson, where you’ll create your very own cosmetic bag — perfect as a Christmas gift!
 
This project is ideal for both beginners and experienced sewists, offering a brilliant introduction to working with zips. Alyson will guide you step-by-step, sharing tips and techniques to help you achieve a professional finish.
 
You’ll need to bring with you:
Fabric for the outside (14" x 11" – perfect for using a fat ¼)
Fabric for the lining (14" x 11")
14" zip (a 16" zip works too)
Coordinating thread
Sewing machine with a standard foot and a zipper foot (I do have sewing machines available to borrow please let me know if you wish to borrow one)
